The most populous barangay in General Santos City is Barangay Calumpang with 67,832 residents, closely followed by Barangay Fatima at 67,309.
Rounding off the Top 5 Most Populous Barangays in the Tuna Capital are Barangay Labangal (57,769 residents); Barangay Lagao (47,953); and, Barangay Apopong (43,596).
The GenSan Barangay with the least number of residents are all rural barangays – Barangay Olympog (2,797). It is followed by Barangay Upper Labay (2,911) and Barangay Batolmelong (3,624).
I reside at Barangay San Isidro which has a total population of 38,980 residents! My barangay hosts the most number of new villages and subdivisions and this might dislodge another barangay from the TOP 5 Most Populous during the next census.
How about you, which barangay in General Santos do you belong to?
