Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, people continue to learn and pursue higher education.
The Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines, in collaboration with EU Member States’ embassies, education services, and institutes, will host the second Virtual European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) on 1-2 October 2021, with registration beginning on September 10 at https://www.ehefphilippines.com.
The European Higher Education Fair 2021 helps Filipino students, academics, researchers, and university administrators on the path to higher education and fulfilling their educational goals in European institutions.
The EHEF 2021 aims to boost the EU’s higher education variety and excellence. You will have access to useful, practical, and complete information about various mobility initiatives and unique higher education programs.
EHEF participants now have more chances and options to explore their chosen subject of studies and where to pursue them in the EU, thanks to 133 participating higher education institutions (HEIs) from 13 EU Member States.
Poland, which is attending the EHEF for the first time, is warmly welcomed. Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands, Austria, Finland, and Sweden are among the other universities participating.
The EHEF continues to be the finest forum for connecting Filipino students with EU universities and higher education institutions, with this year’s theme “Go Higher with EU.”
This year’s all-online fair will include webinars on research programs, sponsorships, and student mobility options, in addition to country presentations and live chats with officials from higher education institutions, alumni, and scholars. Country presentations and live chats with HEI representatives, alumni, and researchers are also on the schedule.
Students and educators can apply for mobility and research funds such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, and Jean Monnet.
Local officials and educators will be able to request virtual meetings with their EU colleagues to discuss possible collaboration and linkages. On October 1st, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a virtual networking event.
As part of its commitment to the digital platform, EHEF 2021 has formed partnerships with regional hubs such as Wesleyan University (Luzon), Silliman University (Visayas), and Xavier University –Ateneo de Cagayan (Mindanao), which will conduct clustered presentations for students and other academics.
