On Saturday, June 25, 2011, the Soccsksargen Bloggers and their Facebook friends will be joining the Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) in an activity in celebration of the National Environment Month – a MANGROVE TREE PLANTING PARTY!!!
The activity will be held at the Minanga Mangrove Forest Park, Minanga, Buayan, General Santos City starting at 6:00am! Check out the beautiful poster designed by blogger Rabsky Villanueva below.
Volunteers are requested to wear slippers or flip-flops, the sturdy type plus shorts. Mangrove tree saplings will be provided by the staff of CENRO Chief Val Lastimosa.

Just follow the Bula-Amao Road from GenSanville and go straight past Asinan, Buayan and way past the old Buayan Airport airstrip until you reach a small fishing village called Minanga.
