Six mWellness Wearables, from everyday activity trackers to ECG-enabled rings, are now available at four 8telcom branches across Davao City

mWell, the Philippines’ top all-in-one health and wellness mega app by Metro Pacific Health Tech Corporation, is expanding access to its mWellness Wearables lineup with the mWell Watch and Rings now available at select 8telcom branches in Davao, giving Davaoeños a new local, in-person way to shop for smart health devices.

Customers can explore all six mWellness Wearables at 8telcom branches in SM Lanang, Abreeza Mall, SM Ecoland, and Gaisano Mall, with prices starting at PHP 1,999.

“At mWell, we want to make it easier for more Filipinos to take an active role in their health,” said Gary Dujali, Chief Marketing Officer of mWell. “By bringing our Watch and Rings to Davao, we hope to give users practical tools that can help them understand their health patterns and build healthier habits over time.”

The lineup includes:

  • mWell Prodigy Watch – an entry-level activity tracker ideal for kids and beginners
  • mWell Power Watch – built for everyday activity and wellness tracking
  • mWell Prestige Watch – offering advanced tracking for daily use
  • mWell Prestige Sport Watch – designed for fitness enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers
  • mWell Ring – tracks deep, light, and REM sleep

A SHARED COMMITMENT TO DIGITAL HEALTH ACCESS

The Davao rollout is part of mWell’s broader expansion across the Philippines, with mWellness Wearables also becoming available in Aklan, Cebu, Bacolod, Iligan, and Tacloban. The expansion reflects the shared commitment of mWell, Smart Communications, Inc., and its retail partners to make digital health and wellness solutions more accessible beyond Metro Manila, bringing innovative wellness technology closer to more Filipino communities.

“Smart continues to support initiatives that bring relevant digital solutions closer to more communities,” said Alexis Winters, Assistant Vice President and National Sales Head for Distributor Sales Group at Smart. “Through this collaboration with mWell and 8telcom, more Davaoeños can access wearable devices that support a more proactive approach to health and wellness.”

For 8telcom, the partnership expands its range of technology offerings with devices designed to support customers’ evolving lifestyle needs.

“We are pleased to make the mWell Watch and Rings available in our Davao branches,” said Jeffrey Lao, Vice President for Retail at 8telcom. “The lineup gives customers more choices, whether they are looking for a watch for daily activity, a device for fitness and outdoor pursuits, or a ring that offers deeper insights into sleep, recovery, and heart health.”

“With six wearable options across different features and price points, customers can find an mWell device that fits the way they live,” said Julex Mantiquilla, Sales Manager at 8telcom. “Our teams are ready to help them explore the products and get started with the mWell app.”

8telcom teams at participating branches are ready to help customers find the device that best fits their needs.

MORE THAN A TRACKER

The mWell app is the companion platform behind the Watch and Rings, turning wearable data into the mWellness Score for a fuller picture of activity, sleep, and recovery. Beyond wearable tracking, the app also connects users to doctor consultations, mental wellness support, fitness programs, and food and nutrition content, all within a single platform.

RECOGNIZED ON THE WORLD STAGE

The Davao expansion builds on a platform that has already earned recognition well beyond the Philippines.

mWell’s commitment to making healthcare more accessible through innovation has earned back-to-back Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards:

  • 2023 – Best Mobile Innovation for Digital Life
  • 2026 – Best Mobile Innovation Supporting Emergency or Humanitarian Situations under the Tech4Good category

This makes mWell the first Philippine healthtech app to win in that category.
