Teleperformance in the Philippines, part of global digital business services company Teleperformance, proudly announces its continued certification for ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001: Environmental Management System.

The certifications are awarded by the globally recognized certifying body, Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), for Teleperformance’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its employees while championing eco-conscious practices throughout its operations.

“As a leading digital business services company in the Philippines, we also recognize our responsibility to conduct business in a manner that prioritizes environmental sustainability—the ISO 14001 certification underscores our commitment to this cause. We are constantly working to drive positive change within our organization and in the communities we serve,” said Rahul Jolly, Chief Executive Officer of Teleperformance in the Philippines.

Teleperformance has been at the forefront of health and safety initiatives, including pioneering programs in collaboration with the Philippines Department of Health (DOH). The organization also garnered recognition from the Anvil Awards and Philippine Quill Awards for its compliance with COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

“More than traditional workplace safety measures, we are working tirelessly to develop and sustain inclusive programs, such as our comprehensive mental health and HIV awareness programs. We are collectively working to foster a culture of support and empowerment to all our team members at Teleperformance,” said Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer for Teleperformance in the Philippines.

As part of its commitment to sustainable practices, Teleperformance has adopted greenhouse gas emission reduction targets approved by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and aligned with the objectives of the Paris agreement. This includes reducing emissions in its operations by 49% per employee and cutting value chain emissions, such as those related to purchases and employee commuting, by 38.3% per employee from 2019 to 2026. Additionally, the company has joined the Climate Pledge, a coalition of businesses committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.
