IF YOU COULD ASK AMBASSADOR THOMAS ANYTHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

You can have the chance to be part of this rare event simply by answering this question.

Tune in to the first ever Ask the Ambassador Google + Hangout on Air via webchat and livestream event.

A select number of participants will have the opportunity to join an exclusive Google+ Hangout on Air Webchat with US Ambassador to the Philippines Harry K. Thomas Jr.  on May 17, 2013 starting at 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Ask the Ambassador

Post your question on the comments section of the event page which you may access by clicking HERE.

An embassy staff will select among the questions you will submit to ask Ambassador Thomas during the live webchat.   Since this is going to be a Hangouts On Air event, everybody can join and watch the livestream via the official Google+ page on http://www.google.com/+usembassyManila and YouTube channel  at http://www.youtube.com/usembassymanila.

The good news is, yours truly, in my capacity as Mother Hen of the SoCCSkSarGen Bloggers, was invited to be one of the participants who will be given a chance to interview the Ambassador during the Hangout.  Together with me are my blogger friends Ruben Licera (president, Cebu Bloggers Society) and Dulce Rose Lada (president, Davao Bloggers, Inc.).

This is not the first time I will be talking with Ambassador Thomas.  In 2011, I was invited to a dinner at his Forbes Park Residence for a LGBT Week gathering.  Read about it by clicking here.

And during the Blogfest 2011, he was one of our speakers… via a recorded video message.  He is one truly gracious fellow and am truly excited to join him in this hangout.

Here, by the way is Ambassador Thomas’ invitation to the public.

The official hashtag for this event is #AskAmbassador

The “Ask the Ambassador” Hangout on Air Webchat is brought to you by U.S. Embassy Manila in celebration of reaching over 100,000 followers and +1s on the U.S. Embassy Manila Google+ page!
