The SM City General Santos finally got its Safety Seal Certificate from the Local Government Unit of General Santos.
The Safety Seal Certification from the local government is the result of SM City General Santos’ efforts and measures to keep its shoppers and employees safe from COVID-19. It was motivated by the mall’s goal to give the greatest shopping experience to everyone.
On September 13, 2021, the management acquired their Safety Seal. The Safety Seal Certificate was presented by a GenSan-LGU inspection team led by Mr. Rogelio Escobar Jr. This demonstrates SM’s dedication to religiously maintaining a safe malling experience by adhering to the government’s basic health safety guidelines for handling the Covid-19 epidemic.
The bulk of its tenants and affiliates, such as The SM Store, SM Supermarket, SM Appliance, and ACE Hardware, on the other hand, acquired its Safety Seals.
Furthermore, SM’s participation in fostering safe shopping experiences in the face of the COVID-19 epidemic is confirmed by Gensan-Safety LGU’s Seal Certification. This attempts to restore shoppers’ trust in the mall by making it one of the first safety seal certified malls in Gensan.
According to EO 29, the Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that verifies that a business complies with the government’s basic public health criteria and employs or integrates a contact tracking facility.
