SM City bags Best Tuna Float Award at TunaFest 2014

For the second time in a row, SM City General Santos’ entry in the Tuna Float Competition for the Tuna Festival bagged the Best Tuna Float Award.

For Tuna Festival 2014, once again, the colorful, animated and massive entry of SM City lorded it over the competition from mostly the Tuna Capital’s fishing companies.

Based on the photo below from SM City’s FB page, there was no doubt that their float entry deserved the title.

The theme for this year is: PIyesta ng Karagatan, Piyesta ng Lawihan sa Magandang Gensan which is visibly evident from SM City Gensan’s tuna float competition entry.
