Just in time for the fight of Manny Pacquiao to defend his Welterweight Title against Adrien Broner on January 20, 2019 (Manila Time) in Las Vegas, a much-awaited coffee table book on him has just been made available to his fans worldwide.
This the Legend – A Tribute to Manny Pacquiao (Fighting Pride of the Philippines).
This coffee table book contains over a thousand photos by Master Lensman Apple Greatson spread over 110 pages. Apple who hails from General Santos City, has been the official photographer of the Senator and his family for several years now. This hard cover book chronicles the journey of the Champ towards regaining the WBA Welterweight Title with his fight against Lucas Matthyse on June 2018 in Kuala Lumpur.
The photographer was with the Pambansang Kamao all throughout his quest – from the start of the latter’s rigorous training in Gensan and Sarangani and up to the ringside in Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, recording the final moments leading to his knockout victory against his younger opponent. This book therefore, enables the reader to get an intimate peek into the Pacman psyche, his motivation and his unbridled faith in his Creator that eventually led to his triumph in the ring after a long dry spell.
Only 500 prints of the Legend are available for sale and so is definitely a collector’s item. A copy of the book costs only P2,500. Copies signed by Manny Pacquiao himself cost more at P4,000.
The Legend – A Tribute to Manny Pacquiao (Fighting Pride of the Philippines) is available at the Team Pacquiao Shop at the JMP Arcade, (across SM City Gensan) San Miguel Street, General Santos City.
