@jonathan: you can take qualifying exam in any country you want to work. let’s say in UK: you have to pass the english proficiency test before you can have your NMC decision letter. when hired in UK, you will have your 6 months adaptation period (test your skills how you will blend with the populace, weather, customs and traditions). In US: you need to take the CGFNS, NCLEX and English proficiency test. not all states requires CGFNS certificate but instead you have to pass the NCLEX-RN & TOEFL or IELTS. some some states needs a CGFNS, NCLEX & TOEFL or IELTS.
you need to prepare a pretty sum amount of money here because you have to pay in green bucks…
good luck..!
@orman: if am not mistaken the NDDU-College of Nursing is in top 12 nationwide in 100-examinee category
what’s the latest ranking as of june 2009?

If you graduated from a Philippine nursing school sa philippines ka lang din pwedeng mag take ng licensure exams. do you mean “countries” sa abroad? kahit na licensed ka na nga pag mag work ka abroad may 6months or so ka pa na supernumeray until competent ka na sa standards nila. tnx.
If I graduate from a Philippine nursing scool, which countries will allow me to sit for a licensure test?
