With all these in store for the locals and visitors alike, expect the 6th Bangsi Festival this year to be grander and more festive than the previous years.
We only have to thank the Honorable Elsie Perret, Mayor of Maitum for ensuring that after only six years, the Bangsi Festival has turned out into one of the region’s more important and better-known annual fiestas, here and abroad. For this year, Bangsi Execom 2013 Chairman George Perrett will surely live up to securing this distinction and more.
