Just when you thought that Jo-Ann’s Bakeshop was good only for its siopao, loaf breads, and the usual merienda fare, here it comes with a new item which sure stands as as being the most wacky and innovative this side of the Pacific!

Ladies and gentlemen and faithful readers of GenSan News Online, here is Jo-Ann Bakeshop‘s new LECHON BREAD!

Jo-Ann Bakeshop’s Lechon Bread as its name suggests, is a one and one half foot-long bread shaped and baked to look like a lechon de leche (roasted suckling piglet).  At P50, it is worth a steal since it also tastes good similar to the taste of the ubiquitous monay or twin bread.

Compared to a whole loaf of bread which costs P40 these days, Jo-Ann Bakekshop’s Lechon Bread should be the better choice since it is way much bigger!

And you know what?  This Lechon Bread even has a bigger variant at P140.  You should however give them a day to bake it after you order it from their main outlet along P. Acharon Boulevard.

Jo-Ann Bakeshop’s Lechon Bread is a fun and affordable way to celebrate small events and a great gift to give for all occasions!  With Bariles’ birthday fast approaching, he’d better be receiving this from any of his millions of readers.  Besides, it would be healthy for him.  (wink) 🙂
