Calling all the members of the great Aquilino and Gregoria Manansala CLAN!
There’s gonna be a HUGE Clan Reunion on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Le Jardin Arnevel’s, along Mabuhay Road, GenSan!
So if you are descendants of the nine children of Aquilino and Gregoria Yumang-Manansala, namely Sofronio (Ompong), Felicisima (Simang Balingit), Isidro (Eding), Marcela (Selang dela Cruz), Ildefonso (Osong), Jesus, Avelino (Elong), Angela (Celing Bustos) and Rafaela (Pelang Cunanan), then better coordinate with any of the members of the steering committee.
Both Aquilino and Gregoria are originally from Macabebe, Pampanga who migrated here in the 1930’s after eldest son Sofronio (one of the pillars of the Iglesia ni Cristo in South Central Mindanao) who came here earlier convinced them of a better life and future in the vast plains of what was then known as Buayan. And so they came, bringing the whole brood with them. They never left ever since.
Bariles who is the eldest offspring of Avelino assures his relatives who will be joining this reunion that it will be one exciting and fun-filled occasion for everyone. The younger members of the clan have prepared a program and set of activities which they will never forget and which will surely make them closer as a family.
Incidentally, his younger brother Orman is the current president of Aguman Capampangan, who just recently conducted a Lenten Pabasa.
