Watch out generals!

Just as we predicted, SM City General Santos won’t let itself be upstaged by its fiercest and most aggressive competitor among the local players when it comes to bringing in the stars when they open their doors on August 10, 2012.

For three days during their opening weekend, they have also lined up a combination of more Kapamilya and Kapuso artists in a series of shows to help enliven and add color to their grand coming out!

A MIX OF KAPAMILYA AND KAPUSO STARS FOR THE GRAND OPENING WEEKEND OF SM CITY GENERAL SANTOS

Here is their schedule of appearance, all at their cavernous ATRIUM:

  • AUGUST 10
    • 11AM –  Our very own XB GenSan (Showtime Grand Winner) and racecar champ turned actor Matteo  Guidicelli, all Kapamilya’s
    • 3PM   –  Kapamilya’s “Princess & I’s” teen stars Katheryn Bernardo and Khalil Ramos
  • AUGUST 11
    • 4PM  –  Kapuso Stars Ryza Cenon, Chynna Ortaleza (of Luna Blanca), Bianca King (also of Luna Blanca) and Dingdong Dantes
  • AUGUST 12
    • 4PM  –  Kapamilya Stars Paulo Avelino (of Walang Hanggan) and Denise Laurel (of Pintada)

The shows of all these artists, as SM City GenSan would like to stress, is FREE for everyone –  no required purchases and no required tickets!

Meanwhile every night on the same weekend, at their OPEN PLAZA or AL FRESCO STRIP, they have also invited THREE TOP MUSICAL PERFORMERS, who are among the best in the Philippines to provide entertainment for the first diners in that area.

On top of that, there will be a GRAND FIREWORKS DISPLAY every night on August 10, 11 and 12!

How’s that for a Grand Coming Out Party?  And as somebody from SM City GenSan whispered to me – “THAT’S JUST ON THE FIRST WEEKEND, BARILES.  WATCH OUT FOR MORE STARS DESCENDING ON SM CITY DURING THE REST OF AUGUST.”
