Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) is really hell-bent on making its presence felt in GenSan even more with its recent move.
With less than a year after it formally opened its biggest mall in Mindanao, the Robinsons Place GenSan, its housing unit, Robinsons Homes purchased 29.6 hectares of property in the Tuna Capital.
The property which was owned by the Integrated Credit & Corporated Services and the Star Two Inc., which deals with the acquisition, management and disposition of land properties will be for the development of a premier housing project.
According to various press releases, the future subdivision is located along the “National Highway in Barangay Labangal, is 25 minutes away from General Santos International Airport and within two to five kilometers from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, Mindanao State University, Elizabeth General Hospital, Robinsons Mall and Makar Wharf“, an area which honestly, Bariles couldn’t pinpoint out where exactly.
According to Ms. Joan Cosico, GM of Robinsons Homes, they believe that GenSan is a growth market as evidenced by their investment in Robinsons Mall and are encouraged by the support of the local market.
“We feel that we can continue to make lives better for GenSan residents by providing a well-master planned housing development with modern amenities,” she said.
GenSan is the third city in Mindanao, after Davao and Cagayan de Oro where Robinsons Land Corporation has invested heavily in the mall and property sectors.
It has Robinsons Highlands in Davao City and Robinsons Hillsborough Pointe, Richmond Hills and Fresno Parkview in Cagayan de Oro aside from the Robinsons Malls in these areas.

Mgndang gnsan na tlga, nxt filinvest is coming to gensan soon.
@toinks…. There should be a limit to the build up area of our city… dapat balance jud atong economy..urbanize lagi ta pero kung maging dependent ta sa gawas for our consumption needs, dah lisod na! Other lands should be reserved for agriculture and other related industries…
Development is not just about URBANIZATION.
Ang magandang patayuan ng ganyang sosyal sa subdivisions ay barangays katangawan, buayan, baluan, san isidro, city heights, apopong, lagao, conel, san jose, olympog and batomelong…these places in the city are potential bedroom districts (suburban). kaso masakit isipin mawawala na lahat ng agricultural areas ng ciudad.
For now, GENSAN already has, or will have, 3 high – end subdivisions: CAMELLA HOMES (Vista Land), COLINAS VERDES (Sta. Lucia Realty) and the upcoming ROBINSONS HOME (RLC)…
I also heard before that FILINVEST has huge property in Brgy. Tambler for a mixed project later… (fingers – crossed on this….)
We’ll, sa ngayon.. WELCOME TO GENSAN to ROB HOMES… 🙂
HAHA. Nakita ko rin ‘yun pero wala pa silang mga flyers, gusto ko sanang kumuha. 🙂
Robinsons Homes to start this March???
According to BusyJay of SCC:
“hey guys, nakausap ko yung nasa desk ng RLC sa rob GenSan, may streamer na dun na “Blooms in GenSan SOON”… they said nga they already have site here in GenSan sa me Labangal and END OF THE MONTH na daw magstart ang subd., nila dito GenSan… Bloomfields din daw… i hope totoo na ‘to.. hehehe ”
