Landlocked Koronadal City and its neighboring towns do not have to worry that the nearest beach is about 70 kilometers away in General Santos City!  The much awaited Paraiso Verde Resort and Water Park is set to open this weekend and unveil the largest ever wave pool in the island of Mindanao!!

Check out the photo below from GandaEverSoMuch.com and see what we mean!

This wave pool called Moby boasts of waves as high as 10 feet although the pool is only 4 feet deep.  It can perform the Diamond Spin which will give you a cyclone-in-the-water-like experience!

Aside from that, Paraiso Verde Resort & Water Park has other attractions and features like: the Wiggles Kiddie Pool (with water buckets & slides); Adventura River Rapids (a fast tube ribe along a 185 meter river loop); Freestyle pool (12.5 x 25 meter lap pool); Rubber Ducky Sourvenir Shop; AQUA CafeMaya Pavilion (for functions); Open Cabanas; Airconditioned Cabanas; and their lovely and lush Kapiiolani Garden.

Koronadal City’s soon to be major tourist draw is set to open in a grand fashion on Saturday, July 16, 2011 in a whole day of unbridled fun, glam and surprises right in the midst of the T’nalak Festival of South Cotabato.  The fun continues the following day, July 17!
