Metro Manila, September 2, 2021 — With only 30 days remaining for voter registration, Vote Pilipinas, a non-partisan, non-profit online and offline voter registration campaign, collaborates with Smart Communications to launch the Magparehistro Ka! Challenge. This social media campaign aims to motivate newly registered voters by encouraging them to share pictures on social media with a comment explaining why it’s vital for them to vote. Entries will be taken until October 10th, with winners being revealed on October 15th during the Grand Draw, which will include prizes such as tablets, smartphones, bicycles, pocket Wi-Fi devices, and different discount vouchers.

To participate in this challenge, newly registered voters simply need to post a photo of themselves on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, answering the question in their caption: “Bakit mahalagang magparehistro?” Participants must follow @votepilipinas, use the hashtags #MagpaRehistroKa, #VotePilipinas, #RegisteredtoVote, and #LiveSmartVoteSmart and send a photo of their registration stubs and proof of entries to the Vote Pilipinas account.
