The KadSAYAW Performing Group, composed of 20 members, most of them teachers and young professionals intends to revive the Mindanaoan’s love and appreciation of the country’s best folk and tribal dances through a cultural presentation, “MANGGAD“, an Ilonggo term which means “inheritance”.
Slated on February 9, 2008 at the Lagao Gym in General Santos City with two performances (4pm-5pm for Matinee; 7pm-8pm for Gala), about 30 dances will be presented by the group, according to its Artistic Director, Russel Jane Batoon.
