Last night, the five videos for the Magandang GenSan Campaign were unveiled to the people gathered at the KCC Convention and Events Center for its launching.
The videos all show the faces, facets and places which, in a nutshell, represent what is truly “Magandang GenSan”: People and Industry; Colors and Textures; Harmony and Fusion; Fun and Frolic and Sun-up and Sundown.
All the five ads were directed by Egai Cadiente. Music was by the combined forces of Egai and Cecil Gao-ay with Mia Rocacorba supplying the vocals. Digital Detours provided the production backend (and the links to the videos below). Of course, they were produced by the City Mayor’s Office through the Tourism, Cultural Promotions and Development of CEMCDO.
Notable personalities like the reigning Ms. GenSan 2008 Romarie Cunanan and her court, the Ms. Teen GenSan 2009 Prexy Whittmer, Ms. GenSan Tourism 2009 Alex Hohe, CEMCDO’s Papoose Salazar and her daughter, the Teatro Ambahanon and Mayor Jun Acharon, among others were featured in the videos. Watch out for them.
These videos, by the way have started airing at the ABS-CBN programs, Magandang Umaga Socsksargen and TV Patrol Socsksargen. Hopefully, they will be aired nationally soon and worldwide over TFC.
If Malaysia has Malaysia, Truly Asia; Thailand has its Amazing Thailand; and Singapore has its Uniquely Singapore, now the Tuna Capital will be known worldwide for its Magandang GenSan.
