General Santos City – July 21, 2025. From its humble beginnings as a family-run trading business in the 1970s, Jacsons’ Enterprises Corporation has grown into a trusted regional leader in steel manufacturing and office solutions. This legacy continued today as Jacsons’ proudly inaugurated its new General Santos City branch along Jorge Royeca Boulevard, Barangay Bula.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Jacsons’ CEO Engr. Francis Celis, General Santos City Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao, DTI Trade Industry Development Specialist Ma’am Sharon Faith Medecillo, and Gensan News Online Publisher Sir Avel Manansala, who all jointly cut the ribbon to mark the occasion.

This new branch replaces Jacsons’ former location along Magsaysay Avenue, with a significantly larger showroom and service center designed to better serve clients across South Central Mindanao. The opening drew strong support from partners, government leaders, and media, including members of the Sox Bloggers Society: Bettina Briones, Matt Abain, Gwynn Ann Sabacan, and Marz Bendol.
From Steel to Solutions: A Legacy of Innovation
Founded in 1970 by Jose Antonio Celis, Jacsons’ began as a typewriter and calculator trading venture, later evolving into steel cabinet manufacturing. In 1995, his son Engr. Francis S. Celis established Jacsons’ Enterprises in Cagayan de Oro City, opening a showroom and setting up a manufacturing plant in Opol, Misamis Oriental in 1997.

Jacsons’ made its mark fabricating steel vaults, safety boxes, and reinforced security doors for financing institutions beginning in 1999, and in 2013, further diversified into electrical wireway fabrication for industrial plants. By 2012, the company had earned recognition from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for being the “Best Regional Adopter” of Powder Coating Technology.
Now with over five decades of experience, the company continues to evolve. In 2021, Jacsons’ expanded into end-to-end office solutions—offering workspace planning, modular furniture, ergonomic systems, and turnkey interior fit-outs. In 2024, it further modernized its operations and began forging partnerships across the ASEAN region.
A New Chapter for Gensan
During the program, Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao shared her appreciation and support for Jacsons’, saying:
“Jacsons’ is a shining example of how homegrown enterprise, strengthened by family values and innovation, can fuel progress in the regions. We thank the Celis family for expanding their business here in General Santos and for believing in the potential of our city. Rest assured, the local government is fully committed to supporting ventures like Jacsons’—businesses that bring quality products, create jobs, and contribute to our city’s continued growth.”
DTI Specialist Sharon Medecillo also commended Jacsons’ for its commitment to high standards and its evolving product portfolio tailored to the needs of modern offices and institutions.

Jacsons’ executive team was in full attendance, including:
- Chairman Lilia Celis
- General Manager Andrea Celis
- Design and Operations Manager Architect Aedriane Celis
- Gensan Branch Representative Alyssa Gaid

As Jacsons’ opens its doors to more businesses, institutions, and professionals in General Santos and nearby provinces, it reinforces its promise: delivering quality-crafted metalworks and dependable office solutions that endure.
