For the benefit of our Catholic brothers and sisters based in General Santos City, I am posting the schedules of four of the major parishes or Catholic Churches of General Santos City for the four major days of the Holy Week.

Hope this helps you plan for church visits with your families and loved ones.  Let me start first with my parish….

  • Seven Last Words  –  12:00 noon
  • Celebration of the Lord’s Passion  –  3:00pm
  • Santo Entiero Procession  –  Time is right after the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion
    • Route: Church -> Yumang St. -> Dacera Ave. -> Nunez St. -> Aparente St. -> Yumang St. -> Church
  • Kissing of the Cross  –  After the Santo Entiero Procession
• Black Saturday
  • Vigil Mass of the Lord’s Resurrection  –  10:00pm
• Easter Sunday
  • Salubong  –  4:30am
    • Assembly place:  Women  –  corner Yumang & Aparente Sts.
    • Assembly place: Men        –  in front of Nana Beth Catering, Yumang St.
