[dropcap style=”inverted”]I[/dropcap] am pleased to announce that our very own Google Business Group chapter, GBG General Santos has once again topped the rankings of Southeast Asian chapters for 2014 just like in 2013.
GBG is a Google Community composed of volunteers, mostly business people who share a common passion for web technologies in leveraging their businesses or careers. In General Santos, GBG is headed by this author, who acts as its Manager. He was appointed to be its lead by Google in March 2013.
All the GBG chapters worldwide are ranked according to the points they garner from the events they run, based on the reports that the managers submit that also contain the feedback of their participants and results of their activities.
In 2013, GBG Gensan also topped Southeast Asia, and thus affording this author to join the Global GBG Managers Summit in the Googleplex (Google HQ) in Mountain View, California in June 2014. He likewise attended the Google I/O Summit in San Francisco afterwards.
