GENERAL SANTOS CITY — In celebration of the city’s 87th Foundation Anniversary, the Kalilangan Festival 2026 culminated yesterday, February 27, with the much-anticipated Kadsagayan Streetdancing Competition, drawing huge crowds and electrifying performances along the city streets.

Emerging as this year’s Champion is Dadiangas North High School, earning the top prize of ?300,000 after delivering a powerful, synchronized, and visually compelling routine that impressed both judges and spectators.

MAJOR AWARDS

1st Runner-Up – Dadiangas West Central Elementary School (?250,000)
2nd Runner-Up – General Santos City National High School (?200,000)
3rd Runner-Up – Romana C. Acharon Central Integrated School (?150,000)
4th Runner-Up – Indak Kabataan Performing Arts Guild – GSC National Secondary School of Arts & Trade (?150,000)
5th Runner-Up – Indak Bulawanon Performing Arts Guild – Jose Divinagracia Sr. Elementary School (?150,000)

SPECIAL AWARDS (?5,000 EACH)

• Best in Streetdancing – Indak Kabataan Performing Arts Guild – GSC National Secondary School of Arts & Trade
• Best in Production Design – Dadiangas North High School
• Best in Musicality – Dadiangas North High School

The Kadsagayan Streetdancing Competition remains one of the biggest highlights of the Kalilangan Festival, showcasing the discipline, artistry, and cultural pride of young performers across General Santos City.
