On October 1, 2021, 100 medical frontliners of Dr. Jorge P. Royeca City Hospital, General Santos City’s government hospital, received grocery packs personally delivered by SM City General Santos management, led by Mall Manager, Engr. Hermon L. Hernandez; Public Relations Officer, Mark Vincent T. Cordero; Marketing Manager, Ms. Maria Elena Q. Floreza; and Marketing Officer, Ramil Christian B. Mejia.
Through its “100 Days of Caring” project, SM City General Santos has chosen DJPRH to recognize the assistance that medical frontline workers have provided since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The selected medical frontliners work in COVID-19 wards, COVID-19 Testing Centers, and other areas supporting patients who are at danger of contracting the lethal virus.
The Christmas season is celebrated in the Philippines with festive themes in local communities. This year, in response to the current health concerns, SM Supermalls devised “100 Days of Caring,” which includes 3+ months of spreading love, thoughtfulness, and care for one another and the communities it serves by distributing presents to 10,000 people from throughout the country.
